08:00 – 08:30 Cusco Hotel Pick-up:
- The tourist transport (Minivan) will collect you from your hotel in Cusco.
08:30 – 09:30 Transfer to the Starting Point:
- Travel to the Cruzpata area or a starting point near Chinchero, in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
09:30 – 10:00 Safety Briefing & Equipment Handout:
- Your professional cycling guide will conduct a safety talk, distribute the equipment (bikes, helmets, gloves), and make necessary adjustments.
10:00 – 11:30 Start Biking Towards Moray:
- Begin the route. Pedal along rural roads and scenic cross-country trails. Enjoy panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks (Chicón/Verónica) and the Huaypo Lagoon.
11:30 – 12:30 Visit to the Moray Archaeological Site:
- Time to park the bikes and explore the mysterious circular Inca terraces on foot, known as the agricultural laboratory.
12:30 – 13:00 Box Lunch/Snack Break:
- Recharge your energy with a box lunch or snacks at a viewpoint with spectacular scenery. Perfect for group photos!
13:00 – 14:30 Biking Towards the Maras Salt Pans (Salineras):
- The most fun section: a controlled descent or an easy ride on dirt roads leading to the famous Salt Pans.
14:30 – 15:30 Visit to the Maras Salt Pans:
- Walk through the more than 3,000 salt pools. The guide will explain their origin and the artisanal extraction process used for centuries.
15:30 – 16:30 Final Stretch and Urubamba Pick-up:
- Last stretch of biking or a short transfer in the Minivan to the town of Urubamba or the final collection point. Equipment is loaded.
16:30 – 18:00 Return to Cusco:
- Travel back to Cusco city.
18:00 – 18:30 Tour Ends:
- Arrival and drop-off at a central point in Cusco (near the Main Square or your hotel)..

How much does the entrance to Maras cost?
Moray is included in the tourist ticket and it is mandatory to purchase it (130 soles per person or 70 for the partial ticket – valid only for 2 days).
The bicycle tour begins in Cusco at 8:30 in the morning and lasts about 6 hours. Includes pickup from your hotel, transportation, and guided tour.
Entrance to the salt mines: S/ 20.00 soles per person. General Ticket
