The Inti Raymi festival is an ancient Inca religious celebration, the Incas worshiped their God: “El Inti or Sol”. Formerly the Inti Raymi lasted about 15 days, sacrifices were made and dances or dances were presented to worship the “Sun God”. The last Inti Raymi that was carried out with the presence of the Inca Emperor was in the year 1535; a year before “The Spanish Conquest” the year of 1536.
Currently, the Inti Raymi is an artistic representation that thousands of people from Cusco and people from all over the world gather for this event, which is one of the most important cultural and traditional events in this part of the world. This Inca celebration makes each one of us feel the Inca blood run through their veins and revalue our past.

Itinerary
This tour begins at 8:00 am. We meet you by your Hotel lobby, The Inti Raymi has three scenes that take place in three different places, begins at the Palace of Qoricancha at Av. Sol, then we go to the Plaza de Armas of Cusco where the second stage is carried out and finally ends with a special and main scene in the Main Plaza of Sacsayhuaman 3 km. outside the city, where we moved by bus to see the last staging of the festival inti Raymi.
After finishing the tour at about 5:00 PM, we will transfer you back to the hotel.

To attend the Inti Raymi, the Municipality of Celebrations, Tourism and Recreational Activities EMUFEC offers the necessary services: Stands in Saqsaywaman equipped with modern and comfortable seats in fiberglass, mobile toilets, VIP area, tourist information booth, stalls First aid and safety (police and particular), allowing you to enjoy the Fiesta del Sol with absolute fullness.
HOW TO ENTER INTO THE SEATS OF THE INTI RAYMI.
The appreciation of the Inti Raymi as regards the sequences in the Qorikancha and the Plaza Mayor are free. Admission to the grandstands of appreciation that are built on the esplanade of Sacsayhuaman is by acquiring tickets and numbered according to areas as specified below.

- This tour involves a moderate amount of walking time, as well as stairs.
- Some of the places you will visit are about 3800 meters above sea level, higher than the city of Cusco.
- There will be stops at local artisan souvenir shops so you can browse and shop, if you like.
