Sacred Valley Tour From Cusco

Itinerary
07:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Pickup
- We begin by picking up all our passengers from their respective hotels or meeting points in Cusco to head toward the Sacred Valley.
08:15 AM: Chinchero (Archaeological Site and Textile Center)
- Our first stop is the picturesque village of Chinchero. We will visit the Inca archaeological remains and the colonial temple. Then, we will visit a local textile center to learn the ancestral techniques of wool dyeing and weaving.
09:30 AM: Moray (Agricultural Laboratory)
- We continue to the circular terraces of Moray. These deep natural depressions were used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory to adapt crops to different microclimates.
10:45 AM: Maras (Salt Mines)
- We head to the Maras salt mines, where thousands of small pools of salt water have been exploited since Inca times. It is one of the most unique and photogenic landscapes in Peru.
12:30 PM: Urubamba (Buffet Lunch)
- We travel to the town of Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring traditional Peruvian cuisine, prepared with fresh local ingredients.
02:00 PM: Ollantaytambo (Living Inca City)
- After lunch, we visit the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo, an strategic military, religious, and agricultural center. Its stone architecture is among the most well-preserved in the country.
04:00 PM: Pisaq (Archaeological Site and Market)
- Our final visit is Pisaq. We will explore the ruins located on the mountain and then descend to the traditional market, famous for its crafts and Andean jewelry.
06:30 PM: Return to Cusco
- We head back to the city, arriving at the Plaza de Armas or the drop-off point at approximately 6:30 PM.
