- Starting Point: Convenient pick-up at your central Cusco hotel. We travel south, beginning a \approx 6 hour, journey along the Southern Valley Route, perfect for altitude acclimatization.
09:30 AM Tipón:
- Inca Engineering Marvel Tipón Archaeological Park. We explore this complex which showcases the highest expression of Inca Hydraulic Engineering. Observe the perfectly leveled agricultural terraces and the astonishing canal system that manages water with millenary precision. (Altitude: approx 3,560 msnm.)ç
11:00 AM Pikillacta:
- Pre-Inca Wari Citadel Pikillacta Archaeological Site. Journey back in time to the Pre-Inca era. Discover the ruins of this planned city of the Wari culture. With its adobe and stone walls, it is a key stop for understanding Pre-Columbian History in Cusco.
12:30 PM Andahuaylillas:
