Itinerary
1.- El Inicio: Salida Temprano desde Cusco.
- 4:00 a. m. – 5:00 a. m.: Lo recogeremos directamente de su hotel en el centro de Cusco para comenzar nuestra aventura. El viaje en nuestro cómodo autobús turístico dura aproximadamente dos horas.
2. Parada para desayunar en Mollepata.
- 7:00 a. m.: Nos detendremos en el pintoresco pueblo de Mollepata para disfrutar de un delicioso desayuno. Tendrá la oportunidad de reponer fuerzas con opciones como pan, huevos, café y jugo..
3. Llegada a Soraypampa e inicio del trekking.
- 8:30 AM: Continuamos el viaje durante una hora más hasta Soraypampa (3900 msnm / 12795 pies), punto de inicio de nuestra caminata. Desde aquí, se puede observar el imponente nevado Salkantay.
- 9:00 AM: Comenzamos la caminata. El sendero es de dificultad moderada a alta y toma aproximadamente 1.5 a 2 horas. El camino puede ser desafiante debido a la altitud, pero las vistas panorámicas hacen que cada paso valga la pena. Se recomienda traer bastones de trekking y aclimatarse durante uno o dos días en Cusco..
4. La recompensa: Descubrir la Laguna Humantay.
- 10:30 a. m.: Llegamos a la impresionante Laguna Humantay (4200 msnm / 13 780 pies). Esta laguna turquesa se encuentra al pie del imponente cerro Humantay. Tendrá tiempo libre para explorar, meditar y tomar fotos espectaculares. Nuestro guía le compartirá información sobre la historia y la importancia de este lugar sagrado..
5. Regreso y almuerzo en Mollepata.
- 12:00 p. m.: Iniciamos el descenso de regreso a Soraypampa (aproximadamente 1 hora), una ruta mucho más fácil y rápida.
- 1:30 p. m.: Regresamos a Mollepata para disfrutar de un nutritivo almuerzo buffet con una variedad de platos andinos e internacionales para todos los gustos.
6. El regreso al Cusco.
- 15:00 h: Iniciamos el regreso a la ciudad de Cusco.
- 17:00 h – 18:00 h: Llegada a Cusco y traslado a su hotel o a un punto céntrico, finalizando el tour Laguna Humantay.

The best time to take the tour to Humantay Lagoon is from the months of April to the end of November.
We recommend you bring: Trekking shoes, comfortable and waterproof clothing, jackets, gloves, rain poncho, additional camera batteries, cash and energy cereals. There is also the option of renting a horse on site in case we don’t have much energy. We will have enough time to take photos, observing the snow that surrounds the place is magical!
